WTVI’s Annual Online Auction

The 2008 Online Auction was a huge success thanks to local and national business support and our auction visitors! It would not have been possible without all of you.....so, THANK YOU!  The support of all the businesses and our bidders is proof positive that there are many that believe in the mission of WTVI.

We're already gearing up for the 2009 Auction which will take place in May.

2009 will mark the 6th year for the WTVI Online Auction, Charlotte’s only online auction with televised components to help promote the donors and the auction in general. This online spectacular is quickly becoming an eagerly anticipated event by viewers, donors and volunteers alike.

The WTVI Online Auction is an exciting online event, attracting enthusiastic and engaged viewers of all ages. Last year thousands of viewers tuned in to the “WTVI Auction Highlights Show” and then went online to peruse and make their bids. 

Your donation will make this Auction a success and will support the station’s mission to strengthen our communities by providing distinctive, thought-provoking programs and services that enlighten, inspire, educate and entertain.

Here are some of the ways donating to WTVI’s Online Auction can benefit your organization:

• Promotional on-air spots on WTVI
• On-line exposure
• Print exposure
• E-mail promotion
• Auction Bidder’s Guide

In 2009, we are seeking mainly donations of gift certificates and gift cards.  These are easier to handle and go for a much higher return of retail than does actual merchandise.  Certificates also create actual traffic to our donor's place of business, therefore building touchpoints for you.  Of course, we will not so no to other items, such as appliances, collectibles, electronics, cars, boats, homes and more!
